I find this to be true.
It seems like it's a Herculean amount of effort, but it's really not that big of a deal.
I start 100 projects and finish 3-10 a year. So, I don't think I agree first step is 90% of the effort, but without it, nothing gets done. And on that we agree.
For those who are reflecting on their to-do list and seeing something that's been on their since 2018, I say!
If you aren't going to do it today, strike it off. Let it go. It's obviously not a priority. Especially in terms of writing... there's all these people in my life who say, "Someday I'm going to write my memoir." No you aren't. You will be 80 and saying the same thing.
You will be just as busy tomorrow as you are today. It never gets easier to start than now. And if you're putting it off today, and you put it off for years... then it's okay to say, "No."
