I have never been to war.

When I write stories war is always a metaphor. War of the heart, war of trying to get the last donut before my big brother snags it, that sort of thing.

But you've done a ton of research here. I'd be interested in seeing more you. Knowing why you were drawn to this topic and how war and helicopters in particular intersect with your life.
