I like this straight up review.

When I write about books/pop culture, I'm always trying to storify it, talk more about the experience of experiencing. It's nice to see a well written straight piece. You aren't simply recounting plot, a mistake I see people make all the time, you're reviewing. Giving us a good sense of how you are judging it and why.

One sort of question thought,

"If this sounds like your kind of thing, and you can forgive a few quirks here and there, you’re in for just over two hours of a memorable, engaging cinematic experience."

Feel like this mutes a glowing review.

I wonder, have you ever written about the art of writing reviews? What are rules you aim for? What's your go to structures and flows?
