It's got a great chapter on screenwriters and pilot season. One guy talks in depth about how he's never been out of work and he's worked and produced pilots for 20 years. He's like a cooler for pilots. If I get em, they will never get made.

Goes into all the reasons pilots need to be made to blow up. And his heartbreak of making good ones that deserve to be made but he knows. That's not the grift.
