I'm sure you're mature for your age, but guys my age who are interested are immature for their age, have poor impulse control, and dating under age women isn't the only taboo/law they are willing to cross. Those guys suck on a lot of levels. All things you don't want in your life.

I have confidence, you will be able to find a guy you're into that's age appropriate.

I've gone on a few dates with fans. The experiences weren't great and I hope to never do it again. But I am easily seduced by attractive people who like me.

I'm lucky that I don't find age gaps appealing.

Like you, I am pro having positive platonic friendships with children. Kids need more organization and it's rewarding on both sides to play coach and chearleader.
