"Like a drug, each new “record” needs to be more shocking than the previous one to keep the audience interested."

This is not really like drugs. You don't go from 1 Advil to 1000.

And is super untrue of this particular situation. Her audience is loyal and paying. They aren't abandoning her if she doesn't do a 1k person situation.

1k is a huge leap from 100 and... Unlikely to be more than hyperbole. A "fun" soundbite. Everyone who has attempted this sort of thing talks about how draining it is and the ache after.

In 2004 the record of 919 was set. So it's doable. But that number also kinda shows you, this isn't really a new societal situation. These outliers have likely always existed.

I am not a fan of this person's art but with porn in general, you can't trust the interviews, you can't trust what people tell you until waaaay after the fact. When they look back and decide to write about it.

Maybe if you truly knew this person as a friend.

But sooooo many people involved in porn do interviews and say 1 thing in 1 and another in another. And it's like pop stars in Japan... Part of the allure is the BS character being played.

People pay her to talk to her on OF. But they are really talking to a bot or a VA. Everyone is in on it. Or are if they look up that everyone does this practice.

All swear it's the real them you pay to message.

It makes pontificating and moralizing difficult.

Maybe she loves it. Maybe she loves money. Maybe anything beyond or in-between.

And so maybe the question is better discussed in more abstract terms. Can we take it away from what she did and talk about this feet in general?
