Yeah, for me, it was annoying to see the parents and teachers play into these dynamics. In my parochial school, it always felt like the adults agreed with the unwritten rules and pecking order.

Maybe they thought if they intervened it'd be worse in the long run.

I was rarely, truly bullied. But seeing it sucked the life out of me. It didn't happen to me in Michigan. But I wasn't the new kid there.
